The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This item consists of two photographs pasted to a piece of cardboard. Both photos show side views of cars. The upper photo shows a car with pale paintwork and a soft top. The lower photo shows a car with dark paintwork, and a note on the back of the photo says 'lower car is almost certainly a Daimler'.
Inscription: Both photos have numbers inked on the bottom left hand corner of the image, suggesting that they may have been accompanied by captions when published.
