Colin Hayes selected and imported this horse in 1972 and 'Without Fear' subsequently set a world record for the number of individual winners from a single crop. As a consequence of the Royal visit, the Australian Government arranged a gift to the Queen of a filly sired by 'Without Fear'. The filly, selected by Colin Hayes, was later sent to England for the Queen to race. Taken during her 1977 official visit to Australia.
Comments: Queen Elizabeth visited Australia as part of her Silver Jubilee tour of the Commonwealth. While in Australia, she presided over the State Opening of Parliament in Canberra, visited all capital cities plus Launceston, Newcastle and other regional centres.
