This series contains seven bundles of Annuity Death Claim packets in respect to the following cranches and covering the periods shown: The Head Office bundle conaints 19 Annuity Death Claim packets, between 1908 and 1914. The South Australia branch bundle includes 13 packets ( 3 Equitable Life) between 1912 and 1928. the New South Wales Branch bundle contain 7 packets (including 5 Equitable Life) between 1906 and 1928. The bundle for the Tasmania Branch contain 20 packets (including 1 New York Life) between 1909 and 1930. The Queensland Branch bundle contain 5 packets (including 1 Equitable Life) between 1910 and 1929. New Zealand Branch bundle contains 6 packets between 1903 and 1911. The England or UK Branch bundle contains 66 packets between 1901-1917. The packets could contain any or all of the following: Proposal for Annuity, policy, envelope (linen lined), copy of policy, resume of details (some on scrap paper), notice of death (death notices from newspapers n some cases), proof of age and death, transfer requests and acknowledgements of receipt of policies. Most of papers in the packets are copies only and it is assumed that the claims were settled by branches.
