1. Research file consisting of handwritten notes regarding wills and estates in the late 1800s that appear to relate to William Forster, or Forster Family research.
2. Research file consisting of photocopies of 1800s documents, including UK census records, and handwritten notes.
3. Copy of Catherine Helen Spence’s 1907, ‘State Children in Australia, and handwritten notes.
4. Research file consisting of handwritten notes, district map - Rothbury Parish, Northumberland England, and 1970s correspondence identifying the research as relating to the Forster Family.
5. Loose papers, handwritten notes relating to baptismal, death/burials and marriage records, late 1700s into the 1800s (includes certified copies), 1970s correspondence and newspaper clippings.
6. Correspondence file 1964 - 1978 (appears to be three sets of the same records, original plus two copies).
7. Research file consisting of handwritten and typed notes, photocopies of 1800s letters, ‘The Story of the General Gordon Memorials: a special introductory number of The Gordon Digest, by WA Somerset, and 1800s Annual Reports, and newspaper clippings. Items appear to relate to Forster research and the Gordon Institute for Boys.

Bagged: The Toorak and South Yarra Try Society Annual Reports (1904 &1917); The William Forster Try Boys’ Society Annual Reports (1923 & 1928-29) Try Boys’ Gazette (1909), City Newsboys’ Society (1917), and as well as a photocopy of the 1923 First Programme of Try Society, photocopy of 1890 correspondence, and a 1909 certified copy of Harold Luke Forster’s Birth Certificate. 10. Bagged: 1969 Correspondence between Ruth Hoban and the Forster family, includes a family tree and a leaflet titled: ‘The Try and The Boy’. 11. 1940s newspaper clippings and a reproduction of a 1768 London Gazette. 12. Loose letters and papers including memorabilia, correspondence, handwritten notes, and a photocopy of Robert Goudie’s death certificate. 13. Acid free file containing 1970s correspondence, handwritten notes, and Certified Copies of Birth Entrys. 14. Research file containing 1970s correspondence, and handwritten notes relating to Forster. 15. Research file containing handwritten notes and photocopies of 1700s and 1800s documents. 16. Research file containing 1970s to 1980s correspondence, 5 x slides (Forster graves, and site of Forster’s Saddlery, Rothbury), newspaper clippings. 17. Envelope containing 99th Try Youth Community Services Annual Report 1982, a 1967 booklet titled: ‘Selina M.
