The near side span has the right hand truss complete, but left hand truss is still under construction. The deck cross-members of the near side span are in place, but not decking. An unidentified lady and gentleman are on the gang planks in the foreground. Several more unidentified ladies and children can be seen on the far side span. A sign posted on the bridge states: "Department of Public Works, New South Wales. Notice. The public are not allowed on these works, or to cross on the temporary staging.
