Reed’s original classical façade was preserved before demolition and gifted by the Bank of New South Wales to the University of Melbourne and erected on university grounds in 1938, originally on the Old Commerce building and more recently incorporated into the Melbourne School of Design (MSD), standing as the west facing façade, opposite Union lawn.
