Captain John Stuart Hepburn (1803 - 1860) was a pioneering pastoralist of Smeaton, Blampied and Daylesford areas in Victoria. Hepburn was the grandfather of May Ina Hepburn, born in 1882, who married Norman Macgeorge, painter, art educator and art reviewer, in January 1911.
