March 1997 'Margaret, This photo is to give you an idea of the structure of 'Shiver Shanty' (note inverted commas). The water tank on its side was for keeping wood. There are 4 metal chimmneys on main hut and one on the annexe and one big fireplace chimney. See Lindsay's floor plan for scale, with annexe position ammended. The walls of the main hut were sloped. The stockade on the right was to keep snow out. There's a lean to on the right end of the porch which was also for wood, but Lindsay has not shown this on the plan."
