Taken from the eastern apse of Wilson hall on the second day of construction when the bluestone kerbing pitchers were being removed by horse and cart. The partially filled former lake can be seen behind the site.
Comments: Colin Sach was a laboratory manager in the Chemistry School, with an ongoing interest in the physical development of the University. He took many photographs of the campus and his department. His well documented images form the basis of this collection.
