Speakers, presenters and reports include: discussions that Aboriginal Australians should have citizen rights as born Australians; Mr Strehlow spoke on the advantages of education in one's native language; Mr S.G.Middleton on the Pindan group of 30 children without a teacher; Cummeragunga school may merge with Barmah; Valentine Leeper reported on the ANZAAS Congress in Perth, and Mr Hasluck's address on the "Problems and Needs of Missions" was read; Mr Gordon Bryant spoke of his observations of 'Native' Welfare in the Northern Territory and W.A.; Mr. Wilfred Douglas' address to the Science Congress, Perth, on the Vernacular Approach to the Aborigines was read, discussing the Arunta and Western Desert language; new stations developed at Maningreda, Borroloola, Papunya and Amoonguna; Albert Namatjira and his conviction for supplying liquor to his relatives is discussed. Annual Report includes 'Notes from all States' which summarises interstate developments and activities with Aboriginal Australians and Missions.
