A brass plate on the gate reads ‘Miss Walter - Teacher of Music’. The house is decorated with bunting and a royal crest.
Comments: The decorations may related to the visit of the Governor of Victoria, the Right Honourable Earle of Stradbroke, to Benalla on 28.11.1921.
