The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This is a photograph of a horse-drawn coach with male and female passengers. "Healesville & Marysville" is written on the side of the coach.
Inscription: On verso in pencil and ink are several inscriptions: "This is one of the original U.S. Cobb's coaches. I think it is the last running near Melbourne. It ran from Healesville to Nyora Guest House. I am in the box seat & Sue is immediately behind.
