The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This photo shows the side view of an identified model motor car, parked on a road (St. Kilda Rd, Melbourne?) with a tram running on median strip. Hubcabs of the car bear the brand 'Bentley'.
Inscription: Pencilled on verso in illegible handwriting is a word which may be 'Damyer' or 'Sampson' or 'Sawyer' and the date '10.5.24'.
