The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This photograph shows the side view of a bus parked beside a road, with a steep escarpment. Written on the side of the bus is "Gibson's Motors, Ltd. (G.M.G.)".
Inscription: Written in ink on verso is "Body on White truck(?). Gilmore, Joll & Williams". Stamped in ink in the upper left hand corner is "Swainson's Studios".
