The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This photograph shows a horse and coach belonging to G. H. Tibb Bakery, Ascot Vale. Coach was built by Alf. A. Mitchell, Flemington Road, North Melbourne. Coach is outside stables, with two men seated inside. Written on the side of the coach is G.H. Tibb, Crescent Bakery, Ascot Vale, Phone Ascot 1063, "Our motto. The best". Alf A. Mitchell's details also written on side of coach.
