The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This photo features a foreman of Cobb & Co, Mr. Fish, dressed formally and posing with a 'Bendigo' Coach belonging to the company. Two men look on on the background. This image is described on its verso as follows: "The "Bendigo" Coach at Dunedin in 1867. 20 passengers. Mr. Fish holding the brake. Afterwards foreman at Melbourne Omnibus Co." Note on verso indicates that this may be a 'Jack' coach.
