The family moved to Melbourne in the late 1880s, where one son became the proprietor of the trade journal 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. The collection consists of family photographs and photographs used to illustrate 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'. This photograph shows the rear view of a Char-a-Banc International with the registration number V-1368. It is parked beside a small wooded area. The photo is pasted onto a ticket for the Painters, Decorators, Oil, Colour and Glass Trades' Picnic at Frankston that is dated April 9th, 1921. T. Bishop was the Hon. Sec. of this organisation. The photograph was most likely used as an illustration for 'The Australasian Coachbuilder and Saddler'.
