This postcard is dated 20/3/09 and comments from the sender include: 'We are just settling down after our visitors(?) and shows, etc. .. I've hardly recovered from my run to town yet, but enjoyed my trip very much. Our show was a great success this year and said to be the prettiest we have had, certainly the flowers were very fine. The competitions are causing some excitement this week. Jessie is very interested in them. We had a splendid rain again, everything looks so fresh and clean and the autumn tints are beautiful.' Inscription: Lengthy ink inscription on verso. Addressed to Miss L. Bishop, Bambra Rd, Caulfield. Postmark and postage stamp on verso.
