Card was posted in 1909. Card was written c/o Miss. B Reid, Tallangatta and dated 31.12.1909, and sender's comments include: "You will no doubt be suprised to receive this from me at the above adress, but the fact is I have been up here two months nearly now, nursing my sister Ada (Mrs. Matthews)who has been at death's door all the time, till this week when a change for the better took place. The heart is the trouble now, and it in a very weak state indeed. She first got Ptomaine poisoning & every other thing possible after. I have a trained nurse these three weeks & we have rooms with Bridget Reid who knows you well .. Write soon to this address. We had Ada in the Private Hospital for six weeks." Publisher: H.A.
