Norm Docker was the Federal Industrial Officer/Assistant General Secretary of the Waterside Workers' Federation, 1951-1983 and General Secretary of the WWF, 1983-1984. The Communist Party of Australia was founded in Sydney in 1920 by a group of Australian Socialists who were inspired by the Russian revolution. It dissolved in 1991.
