Present are Duncan Clarke, Olga Silver, Rex Mortimer and Eric Thornton. The 'Guardian' was the official organ of the Victorian State Committee of the Communist Party of Australia. The Communist Party of Australia was founded in Sydney in 1920 by a group of Australian Socialists who were inspired by the Russian revolution. It dissolved in 1991.
