Only two were successful - the de Havilland Dove and the Vickers Viscount. The Viscount series was in fact highly successful and operated in many countries including Australia and the U.S.A. The Rolls-Royce Dart engine was also very successful and used in a variety of commercial aircraft.This aircraft was destroyed in a crash near Winton, Queensland on September 22, 1966.
