Series[UMA-SRE-20130018] Tabulated poll dataAccession[2013.0008] Papers of Irving David SaulwickIdentifierUMA-ITE-2013001800067Scope and ContentSAUL00514 Computer tabulated statistical data for Age Poll, printed on continuous feed paper. Separate paper feeds relating to a number of different polls have been removed from a plastic data binder and rehoused across seven archival folders (SAUL00514 - SAUL00520).
Part one contains a data report generated under the header 'Beacon Opinion Poll (Saulwick-Weller) April 1975 - Analysis by Datatab System'. The top sheet is inscribed 'April. 1975'.
SAUL00514 consists of table index (attached at rear of report) and data tables relating to: the economy; Medibank (public healthcare); election timing and predicted outcome; views of Labor vs. Liberal parties; party best able to manage the economy; party best able to manage its own affairs; popularity of the Prime Minister (Whitlam) and leaders of the opposition Liberal and Country parties (Fraser; Anthony); voting intention and history; and respondent demographics.
A paper feed numbered as pages 45 - 60 is inserted loose between pages 45 and 46 of the data report. This is not a duplicate of pages 45 - 60 of the main report, although it contains tables derived from the same poll data (representing a more detailed analysis of the 'views of Labor party vs. Liberal party' questions).Access StatusOpen for public accessRequest TypeRequest unitUnit2013.0018 Unit 0012
