Series[UMA-SRE-20130018] Tabulated poll dataAccession[2013.0008] Papers of Irving David SaulwickIdentifierUMA-ITE-2013001800104Scope and ContentSAUL00551 Computer tabulated statistical data for Age Poll, printed on continuous feed paper. Separate paper feeds relating to a number of polls have been removed from a plastic data binder labelled '1988' and rehoused across six archival folders (SAUL00551 - SAUL00556).
Part one contains two data reports, both generated under the header 'February Age Poll - 2 February 88'. The first of the two reports is inscribed on coversheet: 'February Age Poll'. A blank post-it note was found enclosed at table 19, and the continuous feed paper has been split apart prior to archival processing between tables 5 and 6, and again between tables 10 and 11. The second report contains data tables analysing question 7 (salaries) only. Data for question 7 is not included in the first report.
SAUL00551 includes table index (at rear of the inscribed report) and data tables covering:
- the environment
- aborigines
- Australian society
- Australian bicentennial celebrations
- immigration
- performance of the Prime Minister (Hawke) and opposition leader (Howard)
- voting intention
- demographics of respondents
- salaries [respondents polled on what they think to be the salary of various occupations, and also how much they consider people in these occupations 'should' be paid).Access StatusOpen for public accessRequest TypeRequest unitUnit2013.0018 Unit 0019
