The Moving Forward Forum was organised for the ACTU (Australian Council of Trade Unions) by the Evatt Foundation with the support of Workplace Australia. There were 56 trade unions represented at the forum and 267 participants. Guests from industry, the Aboriginal community, ACOSS (Australian Council of Social Services), church groups, the environmental movement, the Labor Party, and the Democrats also particpated in the Forum.
Contains a statement booklet published by the Evatt Foundation, summarising key messages and recommendations of the forum (staples removed from spine during archives processing). Forum proceedings (unbound hole punched pages) are enclosed loose in the booklet, together with a covering letter from Peter Botsman, Executive Director of the Evatt Foundation, dated 14 October 1992.
