Photographs are portraits of Germaine Greer taken by artist Diane Arbus at New York's Chelsea Hotel but printed in 1988 and sent to Greer by Arbus' daughter Doon. The photographs were originally taken for the London Sunday Times or New Woman [according to correspondence] but were not published at the time [Related correspondence housed 2014.0054.00261]. One image was eventually published in a book of Arbus' work titled 'Revelations', published 2003.
