Greer bought The Mills in 1985. Also contains: hand drawn garden designs, order forms (hand annotated in red ink) and invoices from nurseries, including Hillier Nurseries in Winchester. The lists relate to various parts of the new garden, such as a "low border", bulbs along the drive "in order from gate", a "home border" and "south west border (walnut border)" and "South shrubbery or Long Border (railing border)".
