From the 1930s, many German Jewish people made attempts to flee Germany. In this item are letters to Fritz Loewe from numerous individuals (and their families) in Germany, imploring Loewe to assist them in migrating to Australia. Correspondence between Fritz Loewe and various officials and individuals from a wide range of organisations and Government departments is also included in this item, demonstrating Fritz Loewe's attempts to assist these individuals escape from Nazi Germany.
