Administrative And Clerical Officers' Association, Reform Group
Description
Agent TypeOrganisationHistoryThe Reform Group was established in 1976 to oppose the conservative leadership of the Administrative and Clerical Officers' Association's Victorian Branch. In 1979, after spearheading rank-and- file opposition to the Liberal/NCP Government's so-called CERR and CEEP Acts, the Group went on to win office in the Victorian Branch. The coalition on which the Group was based subsequently split, but the Group has continued in existence to become probably the longest-surviving rank-and-file movement in Australian trade union history.
