He was also responsible for the regional art galleries of Hamilton and Mildura and some University associated work such as the original International House. Alexandra and his business partner, Ray Berg, both taught at the University of Melbourne. The records in this collection relate to various architectual practices: Raymond Berg; Berg and Alexandra; Berg and Alexandra Pty Ltd; and finally Douglas Alexandra as sole proprietor. In 1991 Alexandra sold his practice to Howden and Wardrop Pty Ltd and became a consultant to the latter company.
