He was educated ar Ballarat College, the University of Melbourne and later Theologian Hall, Ormond College. Armour served with the Australian Inland Mission in Central Australia (1918-1920) and was appointed Presbyterian Minister at the Romsay-Lancefield Parish; Minister at Toowoomba in Queensland; and later Minister at the Canterbury and Albury Parishes in Victoria. Like his father, he also wrote novels, using his experiance of the Inland Mission as a setting for two of his novels.Search records of this agent
