Major activities have been the publication of journals, the holding of annual conferences and the monitoring of the status and standards of the profession. The Gippsland Group of the Victorian Branch was inaugurated on 8 July 1981 and disbanded to form a Branch on 23 April 1986. John Redman acted as Group Recorder throughout the life of the Group.
