The registered name of the new union is The Australian Municipal Transport, Energy, Water, Ports, Community and Information Services Union. The records in this accession are a continuation of the MOA Victorian Branch first accession. In 1993 the Federated Clerks Union Vic. Branch also amalgamated into the ASU Vic. Branch. These amalgamatio also happened federally, creating the Federal ASU.
