Ltd. to amalgamate the brewing businesses of Magill and Coghlan and of Tylloch and Son, partnerships dating from 1859. At the same time, the Company purchased the business of Leggo and Son. In 1911, it became a proprietory company, and its name changed to The Ballarat Brewing Co. Pty. Ltd.
