IdentifierUMA-SR-000001888Extent1363 boxesScope and ContentThis series of Student Assessment Return Sheets consists of the boxed and unbound Returns and Addendum sheets from 1926 to 2010. Apart from the date and subject code, each sheet contains the number, name and result of students in a given course. To retrieve information about particular courses, the year and box must be identified and if the results are not found, the Addendum boxes consulted. Return Sheets for the years 1926 - 20xx were bound in volumes. Return Sheets for the years 20xx to 20xx were originally placed in lever arch binders but were removed and placed in manila folders prior to transfer to the University Archives. University Handbooks are also included in this series as they contain a full list of subject codes and their titles, which are required to access the return sheets.
Student Assessment Return Sheets were used until 2010 by Faculties to inform Student Administration of the examination results of students in each course. In 2010 Student Administration ceased keeping these records in hardcopy and transferred to using ISIS as its electronic returns management system. In preparation, Student Administration staff gathered all outstanding Student Assessment Return Sheets from Faculties and arranged them by year of examination and subject code. Returns were then bound into volumes by year up to 2006. If Returns were subsequently found for a bound year, an addendum volume for that year was also created. After 2006, Returns were boxed in folders by year and subject code rather than bound. Addendum sheets were also boxed per year.
