IdentifierUMA-SR-000001929Extent3 volumesScope and ContentThe following Terms of Reference were found in Volume 1985 - 19856/5/1985 Item 1 Terms of Reference - Research Policy Sub- Committee The Sub - Committee: - 1. assists the Committee on Research and Graduate Studies in Seeking Support inised and outside the University for research and postgraduate studies 2. conisders matters of research policy referred to it by the Committee and advises the Committee on such matters: 3. receives and considers information concerning the resources available for research activities in the University, and reports developmnets of significance to the Committee on Research and Graduate Studies 4. advises the Committee on Research and Graduate Studies, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor on matter of research policy concerning the University relationship with outside bodies and in particular assists in developing policies concerning seeking and accepting ResearchGrants from Individual agencies; 5.considers matters referred to the University by the inter-University's Committee on Research and Graduate Studies, concerning such matters: 6. considers requests received from bodies outside the University for submissions concerning research policy, and advises the committeee on Research and Graudate Studeis and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor on the appropriate means of preparing a suitable response: 7. advises the Committee on its annual budget and resources, and reviews when requested by the Committee on Research and Graduate Studeis, and the Committee on Research, and Graduate Studes, and the Committee's programme of grants in support of research in the UniversityCollection CategoryUniversity, officialAccess StatusAccess restrictions apply
