Agent TypePersonActivities & OccupationsMining managersHistoryMichell was born at Eaglehawk Vic. 25 June 1871, married Eliza Gundry 1896, and c.1902 he went with his family to W.A., working on various gold mines including the Ida H. near Laverton and Croesus at Kalgoorlie (as manager). In 1920-22 he was battery manager of the Raub Australian Gold Mining Co. Ltd. in Malaya (c.370km N.W. of Singapore), a mine which operated 1892/3-1961. Michell died in Kalgoorlie in July 1938
