After graduating he worked as a draughtsman and surveyor and as a consulting engineer in Queensland, for the Taranaki Company in New Zealand and Mt. Lyell. In 1945, Moline was elected President of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and served until 1960. Arthur Moline continued to work as a consultant- explorer and company director. He died on Christmas Eve in Sydney in 1965.
