Following the change to dual listed status for the RTZ/CRA Group and its renaming as RTZ-CRA Limited in mid 1996, May-June 1997 saw the 'Global restructuring' of the group based in London and its renaming as Rio Tinto Limited. The restructuring leaves a representative office in Melbourne, and three other business units in Australia: Rio Tinto Energy (Melbourne), Rio Tinto Aluminium (Brisbane) and Rio Tinto Iron (Perth).
