Agent TypePersonActivities & OccupationsFeministsHistoryDwayne Campbell was an artist who lived in a shared lesbian household in Brunswick East, an inner urban area of Melbourne.
In 1994, Dwayne was commissioned by Amazon Theatre to design an impressive graphic for the first Amazon Theatre t-shirt. Sheril Berkovitch, the co-founder and editor or Lesbiana, screen printed it onto several purple and blackt-shirts which were sold to raise funds for Amazon theatre's fourth production, Della.
Dwayne had a political interest in protesting against the Gulf wars in the early 1990s and produced a t-shirt and banner: Lesbians Say 'No' to the Gulf War, no blood for oil.
