Agent TypeOrganisationActivities & OccupationsTrade UnionsHistoryOrganized by the Militant Minority Movement in the 1930s, the Central Rail Organising Committee aimed to support and co-ordinate rank and file activity within the railways. In August 1937, a Conference of Shop Committees set up a Central Council of Shop Committees, with two representatives from each shop committee. The Central Council assumed the function of the earlier committee.
