It was in the hands of members of the Mitchell family in 1921, when it passed to Mitchell's nephew, Captain Colin John Chisholm then to a son of Captain Chisholm. The interest in horse-breeding has been strong in both the Chisholm and Mitchell families. A thoroughbred horse stud was established at Khancoban in 1921, and the bulk of the records concern this aspect of the Chisholm family's business. Cattle and sheep breeding were also undertaken, a Hereford stud being established in 1921 and a Corriedale stud in 1929.Search records of this agent
