Flack moved to Australia in 1874 for health reasons and acted as an agent for Price Waterhouse & Co., London. His sons served an apprenticeship in London with Price Waterhouse & Co. After their return, they joined their father in public practice in Australia. A formal arrangement was finally made in 1946 when the firm commenced practice in the name of Price waterhouse & Co. International Firm as well as in the name Flack & Flack. The former consists of six member firms - the legal entities practicing as Price Waterhouse & Co. in the U.K., U.S., Europe, Canada, South America and Australia, each which, though autonomous, is formally associated in the international partnership.
