Agent TypeOrganisationActivities & OccupationsFeminist collectivesHistory'Rouge' was a national Australian feminist newspaper first published by a Sydney collective in June 1979 to replace the demise of 'Mabel' two years earlier. Autonomous editorial collectives in each state undertook the publication and distribution of their version of 'Rouge' every few months. The state editions didn't overlap with each other but they were all published to the same newspaper format. Editions covered issues of both national and local interest. The Canberra collective published the eleventh and final edition in March 1981. This collection is No.41 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archive
