In 1965 she formed a professional and life partnership with Grant Featherston working in furniture, exhibitions and graphics. Major projects included the fit-out of the National Gallery of Victoria (1966-68), furniture ranges for Aristoc Industries, Uniroyal /Bridgestone and the Children’s Museum of Victoria (1984 - 92). After Grant's death in 1995 Mary's work focused on chidlren's play and learning environments in children's centres, primary and secondary schools. Mary Featherston is the creator of the W.E.L poster Think W.E.L. before you vote.
