The conference was well-attended and included workshops on topics such as, the oppression of women, feminist theory, history of the Melbourne women's collective of the Communist Party of Australia and aboriginal employment. Some of the discussion there instigated the founding of the Women's Social and Political Coalition (q.v.). This collection is No.76 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archive
