Agent TypeOrganisationActivities & OccupationsTrade UnionsHistoryEstablished just after the turn of the century as the Victorian Sugar Refinery Employees Union, it was registered in 1911 with the Concilliation and Arbitration Court as the Sugar Works Employees' Union of Australia. The union remained confined to Victoria, but in amicable contact with interstate sugar workers unions. It merged into the A.W.U. in 1975.
