Agent TypeOrganisationHistoryThe Tower Hill Group was established in 1977 to provide advice to intending students of termiary institutions as a result of a meeting called by Ann-Maree O'Connor, Schools Information Officer at the University of Melbourne. From 1985 named the Tertiary Information Service at the end of 1985, it was to provide information to th community, with emphasis on senior post-primary school students, about tertiary courses and related aspects such as admission policies, student services and life and graduate employment. Membership comprised representatives of Universities, Colleges of Advanced Education, T.A.F.E. Colleges and other educational agencies.
