Sc. course at the University of Melbourne was interrupted by war service in the army in Papua New Guinea and completed in 1946. He graduated M.Agr.Sc. in 1952, Ph.D. in 1963 and D.Agr.Sc. in 1976. He worked in the CSIRO's Division of Animal Health and Production from 1949-56, and was appointed Snr Lecturer in Animal Husbandry at the University of Melbourne in 1957. He became Professor of Animal Production in 1976 and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry from 1976-78. He retired in 1987 and was appointed Emeritus Professor. His career in animal husbandry has included many publications and many teaching and research assignments in S.E. Asia, especially in Indonesia.Search records of this agent
