The Centre creates initiatives in the study of contemporary Australian culture, society and insitutions; establishes links between research at the University and the wider community of business and government; raises important public issues for debate and discussion; provides a place of wide academic expterise to which other organisations can turn for advice, information or discussion, for structured seminars or for research.
